Best Hair Straighteners and Flat Irons of 2007
CurlytoStraight.com announces the very best hair straighteners of 2007.
The standards used to determine this "Best Of" list are; reliability, product features, customer support and consumer reviews. This review does not go over every class of hair straightener available. Only top tier products were reviewed and the cost was not considered.
These reviews are based solely on product quality, features and user feed back. This will not consider cost.
1) The FHI Runway Series - This line of hair straightener is easily the finest out there. These hair straighteners offer every cutting edge feature; 450F max temp, adjustable heat, revolutionary heating plates, damp-or-dry styling, lightening fast heat time and the most consistent plate heating of any product on the market. The Runway models also have the best user feed back of any product we reviewed. If you want the best and most effective hair straighteners available this is it, and it's going to cost you. These straighteners usually about $400.
Are the Runway models worth the money? Certainly, if you can afford the price.
2) The FHI Platform Series - As forerunners in the development of ceramic plating and tourmaline integration, FHI's Platform series offers a top-notch straightener at a much more affordable price.
Available to buy in assorted sizes, the Platform series provides adjustable temperature, ultra flash heat times, 450F max heat and PTFC ceramic heat plates.
While the Platform Series is more affordable than the Runway series, they are still on the pricey side at around $150 - $200.
3) CHI Pink Series - The trendy pink straightener provides the best performance and reliability of any hair straightener in the Farouk CHI line.
Flash heat times, temperature control, and ceramic plates combined with a comfortable and ergonomical handle make the CHI hair straighteners the perfect option for people that want the most out of their hair.
4) T3 Wet-or-Dry - In actuality, this hair straightener ranked above the CHI Pink series in product features, but it fell to fourth place due to the fact that customers have had difficulties with warranty returns. Aside from that, the T3 Wet-or-Dry offers consumers a sturdy ceramic design.
5) CHI Turbo Series - The CHI Turbo series takes fifth place in our 2007 review of straighteners. This hair straightener line is used by more hair professionals than any of the other models. And though its flash heating and maximum temperature don't match the CHI Pink, the CHI Turbo series is an attractive choice for anyone that wants premium dependability and performance.
Honorable Mention
Though our 2007 Hair Straightener review features the best of the bunch, there are many other professionally designed, first rate flat irons and straighteners available today. The following are a few:
GHD Hair Straighteners - A great device with a sleek design that integrates many cutting edge features makes the GHD straighteners a wonderful option.
HAI Hair Straightener|Flat Iron - HAI hair straighteners have a couple of wonderful offerings at reasonable prices; the Nu Stik and the Convertible. FHI Flat Iron|Hair Straightener - The FHI Technique series offers consumers best in Class products for the more traditional models. The FHI hair straightener is a high quality product with many of the new millennium technologies.
*One of the better known models on the market, the sedu ceramic hair straightener, wasn't reviewed because of the exclusive, non-competitive internet distribution agreement and what seems to be misleading sales practices.
